In 1981 Evangelo and Diana Lambernakis moved from Greece to Alaska. They fell in love with the amazing beauty of Alaska and in 1985 they opened Evangelo's Restaurant in Wasilla, Alaska. They opened it with the hope to bring their love of food to Alaska and the Wasilla community. They succeeded and over the next thirty delivered deliciously authentic Mediterranean dishes to the surrounding community. In 2001 they were even able to open a larger restaurant to help bring their food to more people.
